The Valencia Visitor Centre was opened on February 2nd 2012 by the Honourable Kamla Persad-Bissessar, Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and the Honourable Dr. Rupert Griffith, Minister of Tourism.
The centre is a gateway to nature and fits into the Trust’s vision for sustainable development.
The facility currently consists of two buildings on a 2-acre parcel of land on the Eastern Main Road, Valencia making access by private and public transport easily facilitated. The property is fenced and gated, with security personnel on site. The grounds provide ample vehicle parking while the maintained lawn and small orchard have picnic tables, for lunch and relaxing.
